Service Integrations

Studio supports optional services around the saved content and publishing workflow. The configured connection, available Worker bindings, and account permissions determine which actions can run.

Configuration and Credentials

Service settings saved in Studio use revision checks. If another session changed the settings, load and review the latest values rather than overwriting them silently.

GitHub, Analytics, and mail credentials are encrypted in D1 with separately derived keys under STUDIO_AUTH_SECRET. Settings reads report credential presence, not the original value. Disabling a feature and deleting its saved credential are separate actions. These credentials are not Preview Data.

The default Worker template can declare resources for optional features. Cloudflare still provisions declared bindings before deployment; turning off a product feature does not remove its infrastructure.

Workers AI

Studio can request content drafts, excerpts, selection rewrites, and generated images through its Workers AI binding. Review generated text before applying it. Draft generation does not publish a site; publication uses the same saved content and publishing workflow.

The selected text or image prompt is sent to the AI service when an action is requested. Availability depends on the binding, supported model, provider limits, and request policy. A provider refusal and a temporary service failure can require different next actions; neither should be treated as generated content.

Normal local development and local preview exclude Workers AI. Explicit remote development can enable it and uses real account resources. Follow the Studio development instructions when choosing that mode.
